Reports: Cody Rhodes Dropped Title to Set Up Major WWE Spots

Reports say WWE had Rhodes drop the Undisputed WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre in January to free him for two major “draw” spots: the Royal Rumble and the Men’s Elimination Chamber. After McIntyre later interfered in the Chamber and helped cost Rhodes the match, Nick Aldis made McIntyre vs. Rhodes official for March 6 SmackDown.
