RHP Nick Hernandez Signs Minor League Deal With the Athletics

Hernandez had an impressive 2.12 ERA with a 63:22 K:BB over 46.2 innings in 2025 for the Astros' Triple-A affiliate. He hasn't been able to find his footing in the big leagues just yet, carrying a 7.06 ERA over 21.2 career MLB innings. Some strong outings could allow him to return to the majors with the A's in 2026.
