Richard Childress Admits Talks About Selling Equity Ownership in RCR

Childress testified that RCR had been in talks to sell an equity stake, including part of his personal 60% portion of ownership. Childress said that the prospective group, that included former driver Bobby Hillin Jr, signed an NDA, so he was thrown off that NASCAR was aware of the talks. The deal fell through because the potential buyer didn't have the money.
