Rick Pitino Ready to Coach Until He’s 80, Wants to Retire at St John’s
Having signed a contract extension valid until the 2029-30 season, Pitino, 73 years old, would love to continue coaching until he's 80. "I’ve got to be able to do what I did this year, the same way, with that type of passion and energy," Pitino said. He doesn't see himself coaching anywhere other than St John's, wanting to retire there.
