James is lining up post-WWE dates fast. Squared Circle Expo booked him for Indianapolis on March 27-28, while Diamond Championship Wrestling announced him for Alabama on March 20. Later, he’ll reunite with Billy Gunn at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl 21 in December. James left WWE this month after serving as SmackDown’s co-lead writer since February 2025.
