Roberto De Zerbi Taps Micky Van De Ven to Captain Tottenham
De Zerbi has confirmed Van de Ven as the new Tottenham captain. The defender wore the armband for the final six crucial matches last term after Romero's injury. Per Ben Jacobs, the appointment comes after Van de Ven signed a new contract and impressed with four goals and 131 clearances in 35 Premier League starts during 2025-26.
