Roger Federer Returns To Rod Laver Arena For Practice With Casper Ruud

Back in Melbourne for an exhibition, the six-time Australian Open champ hit Rod Laver Arena on Friday, his first session there since 2020, to practice with Ruud. A vintage moment: Federer drilled a backhand return winner down the line, leaving Ruud stranded. Retired since 2022, he’ll play Saturday’s Opening Ceremony card alongside Andre Agassi, Patrick Rafter and Lleyton Hewitt.
