Roger Goodell Hints NFL Could Renegotiate TV Deals in 2026

The NFL Commissioner told CNBC that the league could reopen its $111 billion media rights deal as soon as 2026, four years before its 2029–30 opt-out. Signed in 2021 with Disney, NBC, CBS, Fox, and Amazon, the 11-year contract averages $10B annually. With 72 of 2024’s top 100 TV programs being NFL games, Goodell says “the landscape is changing.”
