Roger Goodell Says NFL Teams Outside U.S. Are Inevitable

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell believes the league will eventually have teams based outside the United States. Goodell said he has “no doubt” international NFL franchises will become a reality as the league continues expanding its global presence. The NFL is playing a record nine games internationally this season, and Goodell suggested an overseas stadium could eventually host a Super Bowl if it also becomes home to an NFL team.
