After Punk pinned Finn Bálor with Go To Sleep to retain the World Heavyweight Title at Elimination Chamber, Reigns fired off: “Not sure who looked more tired — the crowd or the champion. Enjoy this final month of relevancy.” Reigns earned the WrestleMania shot by winning the Jan. 31 Royal Rumble and choosing Punk’s title over Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship.

Seth Rollins Revealed as Hooded Masked Man at Elimination Chamber
Rollins returned at Elimination Chamber on Feb. 28, 2026, after previously ruling himself out with a torn rotator cuff suffered vs Cody Rhodes in October 2025. During the men’s Chamber, two hooded figures entered: the first was later identified as decoy Don Furio from Rollins’ academy. The second hit Logan Paul with a Curb Stomp, unmasked as Rollins, and Paul was eliminated by Rhodes.

After beating Bálor in Belfast weeks earlier, Punk defended the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber in Chicago. He followed AJ Lee’s Women’s IC win and entered with Bulls-style flags before “Cult of Personality.” Bálor sent him through the barricade and dodged GTS attempts. Punk bled, reversed Coup De Grâce into a Sharpshooter, then finally hit GTS to retain.

Punk entered Elimination Chamber at Chicago’s United Center to the Bulls’ iconic “Sirius” lineup theme, honoring MJ’s ’90s dynasty before switching to “Cult of Personality.” He soaked in hometown chants for his first Chicago match since 2013 and first ever in the United Center. Punk defeated Finn Balor to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the Bulls' home floor.

Randy Orton Secures WrestleMania 42 Spot With Elimination Chamber Win
Orton won the Men’s Elimination Chamber to earn Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Title shot at WrestleMania 42. Logan Paul scored three straight eliminations before a hooded Seth Rollins slipped in and Curb Stomped him, letting Rhodes get the pin. McIntyre later attacked Rhodes, ate an RKO, then Orton nailed Rhodes with another RKO and pinned him to punch his ticket.
