Before he became a pro wrestling star, Reigns was a standout football player at Georgia Tech. He impressed enough that multiple teams brought him in for visits ahead of the 2007 NFL Draft. “I got to meet the head coach, Lovie [Smith], at the time, and I was sold. I wanted to be a Chicago Bear immediately. But unfortunately, it didn’t work out, and we found the right team,” he said.
