McIlroy told reporters he didn’t realize Augusta can request a club for its collection until after his playoff win. Flying home Monday, he noticed his 7-iron was gone. “Sean had already given it to the club… just didn’t tell me,” he said. “That’s a pretty important club,” McIlroy joked, adding he’d happily “get a new 7-iron” and move on.
