Royals Land Isaac Collins, Nick Mears in Deal for Angel Zerpa

Jeff Passan reports Kansas City acquired outfielder Collins and righty reliever Mears from Milwaukee for lefty reliever Zerpa. Collins hit .263 with a .368 OBP, nine homers, and 16 steals in 2025. Mears posted a 3.49 ERA and 0.971 WHIP over 56.2 innings. Zerpa went 4.18 ERA with 58 Ks in 64.2, giving the Brewers a bullpen swing.
