In 2020, Russell Okung made NFL history by taking a part of his $13 million salary in Bitcoin. Five years later, he says the gamble paid off. Okung revealed his $6.5 million investment grew to nearly $26 million, adding he has “outperformed people from Goldman Sachs” simply by holding Bitcoin, which he calls the best hedge against inflation today.
