Garcia weighed 149.4 pounds at his WBC 7-day check, under the 151-pound limit for his Feb. 21 title fight with Mario Barrios. Advisor Guadalupe Valencia said, “Ryan has been on weight and in full compliance…Anyone stating anything to the contrary is misinformed.” Garcia was previously fined $5,000 for missing a 14-day video check.
