Ryne Nelson Eyes September Return After UCL and Flexor Strains
Nelson will undergo another MRI in four to six weeks after being sidelined with flexor and UCL strains. The right-hander is 3-5 with a 4.97 ERA in 15 starts this season. He hopes to return in September. D-backs reliever AJ Puk, meanwhile, is shut down for another four weeks with a capsule strain and will undergo an MRI then.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Exits After Apparently Tweaking Back
Guerrero exited in the sixth inning after appearing to tweak his back, creating an injury concern for Toronto. The first baseman entered play batting .280 with four homers and 30 RBIs this season.
