Sabrina Ionescu Expected to Miss at Least Two Weeks With Left Ankle Injury

Ionescu will miss at least two weeks after rolling her left ankle on a reverse layup attempt in Sunday's preseason win over the Sun, per the New York Post. An MRI showed she avoided significant injury to the ankle. The four-time All-Star averaged 18.2 points last season. New York opens the regular season Friday against Connecticut at Barclays Center.
