Saints Sign Cade York Over Justin Tucker After Tryout

York won the Saints’ kicker job over Tucker on Tuesday, as New Orleans signed him to the practice squad and released Blake Grupe. Tucker, reinstated after a 10-game suspension, didn’t do enough to offset his off-field baggage. York, who has bounced between five teams since 2022, joins the Saints with a career 73.3% field-goal rate, identical to Tucker’s 2024 mark.
