Sal Stewart’s Three-Run Homer in the First Propels Reds to Win Over Mets

Stewart belted a three-run homer, and Spencer Steer added one as Cincinnati beat the Mets 5-3. Brady Singer earned his first win since April 25 by allowing just one run on three hits over five innings. Mark Vientos homered for the Mets, who had manager Carlos Mendoza ejected in the seventh. The Reds improved to 35-37; the Mets are 32-41.
