Sam Bairstow Sanctioned After Video Shows Rule Breach at DP World Tour Event

Bairstow was disqualified from the Nexo Championship after wrongly signing for a 5 instead of 7 on the 14th. Video later showed his ball moved before a shot, but he played it without penalty. Initially denying wrongdoing, he admitted fault when confronted. The DP World Tour reportedly fined him €25,000 ($29,000) for breaching its Code of Behaviour.
