Sam Darnold Gets Hero’s Welcome in Seattle After Disneyland Trip

A long line of Seahawks fans stretched several blocks down NE 45th Street on Tuesday. They were waiting for Super Bowl-winning QB Sam Darnold, fresh off a Disneyland trip, to ceremonially open a new Raising Cane’s in Seattle’s University District. The line began forming more than five hours earlier. When Darnold arrived, fans chanted “Go Seahawks.” He also sampled a few chicken tenders.
