In his new Prime Video documentary “Saquon,” the Eagles RB revealed that Mara denied his 2023 trade request. “I’m not going to do that… It’s not going to be in your long-term best interest,” the Giants owner told him. Barkley said he felt “used, abused, and misled” during the contract standoff, eventually signing with the Eagles as a free agent in 2024.
