"Saving Steve Kerr Some Money": Terry Stotts Does Post-Game Interview Instead Of Kerr

Kerr was ejected tonight after he was furious over a missed goaltending call. Assistant coach Stotts did the post-game presser instead and said, "I'm up here because I'm saving Steve some money. Only reason." This means Kerr was planning on going off on tonight's officiating which would've likely led to a fine. Steph, funnily enough, was also ejected tonight.

Curry said, “I was gonna do that,” before Kerr erupted, adding, “I was appreciative of that.” He said, “Two crazy calls in a row… I love that. That fire from Steve. Somebody had to do it tonight.” Kerr was ejected in the fourth quarter after back-to-back technicals while arguing a missed goaltending call against the Clippers.
