Seahawks to Extend Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Devon Witherspoon Within Two Months

The Seahawks plan to extend Jaxon Smith-Njigba and CB Devon Witherspoon this offseason, Brady Henderson reported. Smith-Njigba, the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year, led the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards and is seeking to become the league’s highest-paid receiver. Pro Bowl cornerback Witherspoon is also eligible for a major extension as Seattle evaluates its fifth-year options by May 1.
