Head coach McVay said Stafford sprained his throwing-hand index finger Saturday but will be “good to go” Sunday against Chicago. Stafford bent the finger backward versus the Carolina Panthers. Stafford said, “It wasn’t pleasant,” yet missed no plays. X-rays were negative, and he finished the win with a late touchdown pass to tight end Colby Parkinson.
