Aaliyah Edwards made a layup to bring the Sun within 2 of the Storm followed by Kennedy Burke getting an and-one layup on Lexie Brown with 2.8s left. Natasha Hiedeman missed a three, leading to the loss. Hiedeman led the team in scoring with 20. The Sun had an all-out effort with Charlisse Leger-Walker having a team-high 16 points.
