SEC official Ken Williamson has been suspended for the rest of the 2025 season and could retire, ESPN confirmed Thursday. His handling of the Auburn–Georgia game on Oct. 11 drew criticism after several calls went against the Tigers. NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay called the decision “a very dangerous precedent” arguing that lesser punishments “may have been more appropriate.”
