Shayna Baszler Makes Surprise WWE Return as Contract Status Remains Unclear

On Sept. 16, Baszler made her return at NXT Homecoming, advising Sol Ruca & Zaria after their tag team fallout. Released in May after her 8-year contract ended alongside Dakota Kai and others, she was later seen shadowing as a producer in July.
