Shohei Ohtani Passes Lou Gehrig With Walk Streak in World Series Game 4
Ohtani drew his sixth straight walk dating to Game 3, setting a World Series record and passing Gehrig’s five from 1928; he also tied Seager for the longest such postseason streak. Toronto then pitched to him sparingly, winning 6-2 in Game 4. Starting on the mound, Ohtani went 0-for-3 after the first-inning walk as the series moved toward Game 5.
