The two-time reigning AL Cy Young winner topped Juan Soto’s $31 million arbitration mark and shattered Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s $19.9 million panel record. Skubal used the “special accomplishment” clause to cite $40M-plus ace comps, with MLBPA’s Bruce Meyer involved.
