South Carolina Lands Kendal Briles as New OC

South Carolina is finalizing a deal to hire TCU’s Kendal Briles as offensive coordinator, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Briles, a top target from the outset, joined the Horned Frogs in 2023 and now returns to the SEC to run Shane Beamer’s offense. GamecockCentral’s Chris Clark reported optimism a deal could be done by Tuesday, timing that proved spot-on as Briles heads to Columbia.
