Sportsbook Alerted NCAA to Brendan Sorsby’s $90K Betting Activity

Sorsby admitted to placing more than 9,000 bets totaling $90,000 during his college career, according to a court filing submitted on Friday. The filing also revealed that an online sportsbook alerted the NCAA to Sorsby’s extensive gambling activity after being contacted by law enforcement. Until now, it had been unclear how the NCAA became aware of Sorsby’s betting history.
