Michael Wilbon Compares Victor Wembanyama to a Young Mike Tyson
"It looks like something otherworldly that possesses him now," Wilbon said of Wembanyama after he recorded 41 and 24 in Game 1 win over OKC. Mike Wilbon Puts Wembanyama in Bill Russell, Magic Johnson and Tim Duncan's Company
Wilbon sees Wemby in rare company after his 41-point, 24-rebound Game 1 performance. "It's Russell. It's Magic. It's Tim Duncan. That's the list," Wilbon said of players who won championships early. "Maybe he's cut from a different cloth." Wemby, 22, is in just his third NBA season as the Spurs lead OKC 1-0 in the Western Conference Finals.
