Stanford Football Takes First Step Toward a College Football Union

Stanford's football team has formed a chapter with the College Football Players Association, marking a major step toward a nationwide players union. Senior Fisher Anderson said the goal is to “do what the NFLPA does for college football.” A union could give players more bargaining power while allowing schools to negotiate rules on pay, transfers and working conditions.
