Steelers’ T.J. Watt Contract Named Among NFL’s Worst

Steelers star T.J. Watt's three-year, $123 million extension has been labeled one of the NFL's worst contracts by Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon. Citing Watt's decline from 19 sacks in 2023 to seven in 2025, Gagnon wrote that “a decline is well underway.” He ranked the deal fifth-worst in the league, noting Pittsburgh could end up paying Watt $94 million over two seasons if it moves on after 2027.
