Edgecombe stated that coaches, including Doug West, get on him about his rebounding. "He’ll be like, you jump too high not to be able to grab rebounds," Edgecombe said. He added that improved rebounding allows him to get in transition and create plays for teammates. He was able to get good open looks against a strong defense like the Blazers.
