Smith called Durant “one of the greatest players in NBA history” and said he’s still underappreciated, but argued part of that is self-inflicted. Smith said KD never chased the spotlight the way Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, or Kobe Bryant did, even while becoming a two-time champion, two-time Finals MVP, and top-five scorer all-time.
