Smith doubled down on his preseason Knicks Finals pick, saying Madison Square Garden is “going to host a couple of NBA Finals games next month.” But he hit “pump the brakes” on a title, warning OKC and San Antonio look “next level.” Beating either, Smith said, would require near “perfection” from New York to finish the job against the West.

OKC is now tied 1-1 with the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals. SGA led the Thunder in Game 2, dropping 30 points in the 122-113 win. The Thunder now have to travel to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4. Regardless of the outcome, there will be a Game 5 back in OKC. Knicks are up 1-0 on Cleveland.
