Smith said he “lost all hope” when New York trailed San Antonio by 29 in Game 4, expecting the series to go back tied. Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby powered the comeback, but Smith said he refused to watch the final shot live. “I bowed my head,” he said, adding, “The good Lord didn’t let me down.”
