Down by 11 in the first half, VCU came back in the second half to force OT and eventually win. Terrence Hills Jr. played a hero's game, dropping 34 points off the bench for VCU.

De'Aaron Fox threw the inbound pass to Wembanyama, who surveyed his options, with 10.8 on the clock. Moving back and forth on his pivot, Wemby drove in and rose for the jumpshot. He sank it, getting the Spurs a clutch 101-100 win and securing their top-6 playoff spot. Wembanyama dropped 34 points and 12 rebounds in the huge win.
