Steve Kerr Calls Himself “Idiot” Over Blaming Will Richard for Brandin Podziemski’s Error

Kerr called it an unfortunate incident, stating he incorrectly blamed Richard during Warriors' 107-110 loss vs. Knicks. "What kind of idiot coach would blame this guy for the turnover?" Kerr joked. However, he explained that he thought Richard was responsible for the turnover and it would have been his second turnover in a row, hence the strong reaction.
