Super Bowl Commercials Hit Record Spending Levels
Super Bowl advertisers paid an average of $8 million per spot this year, with an estimated 5–10 ads reaching $10 million. About 40% of brands are Super Bowl first-timers. NBC also requires advertisers to match their Super Bowl spend across other NBC events, pushing total commitments higher. The network is expected to generate roughly $800 million in ad revenue from the game.
