Tatsuya Imai Set for MLB Posting After Seibu Lions Greenlight

Seibu will post Imai after a 10–5, 1.92 ERA season, opening MLB talks from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15 with 45 days to sign after posting. Imai, known for a power fastball, has spent his career in Japan. Jeff Passan projected an $80M to $200M-plus guarantee in salary. Under the MLB–NPB system, Seibu also collects a scaled posting fee.
