Tensions flare up early in Game 5 of Magic-Pistons. At the 6:05 mark of the first quarter, Duncan Robinson and Desmond Bane got tied up with one another with Bane being called for his second personal foul. Duncan began talking trash and the two had to be separated with both teams eventually getting involved and a timeout being called.

The Lakers had a four minute stretch in the fourth tonight where they held Houston scoreless and yet lost 99-93. Houston converted 15 Lakers turnovers into 18 points. After the loss, Shaq said, "I’m super disappointed in the Lakers." LAL has failed twice in a row to close out a Kevin Durant-less Rockets and now face them in Houston next.
