Texans’ Azeez Al-Shaair Responds to Fine: “It’s Bigger Than Me”
The NFL fined Al-Shaair $11,593 for wearing eye black reading “STOP THE GENOCIDE” during Houston’s wild-card win. Al-Shaair said he expected a fine but was confused by threats of removal from the game. “It’s bigger than me,” he said. "I'm sitting here crying about football, when these people are dying every single day. Perspective and awareness," Azeez added.
