Texans Co-Founder Janice McNair Dies at 89

Houston Texans co-founder and Senior Chair Janice McNair has died at the age of 89. Chair and CEO Cal McNair called his mother “exceptional,” saying she “radiated joy” and that “nothing mattered more to her than her beloved Texans.” McNair helped bring the NFL back to Houston, contributed more than $500 million to charitable causes, and was inducted into the Texans Ring of Honor in 2025.
