Texans LB E.J. Speed Expected To Miss Entire 2026 Season

The Houston Texans are expected to be without linebacker E.J. Speed for the entire 2026 season after doctors determined his quadriceps injury was a full tear rather than a partial one. Speed underwent surgery to repair the injury after suffering it during a workout. He recorded 65 tackles across the regular season and playoffs last year, leaving Houston with a significant depth challenge at linebacker.
