Thomas Sorber Tears ACL, Continues Thunder's Rookie Injury Trend

Sorber, the 15th pick in 2025, tore his ACL during a workout in OKC and will miss the 2025-26 season, Tim McMahon reported. This continues a trend of Thunder first-round picks getting injured. Sorber follows Chet Holmgren, who fractured his foot in 2022, and Nikola Topic, who tore his ACL in 2024. Both had rookie seasons delayed by a year.
