Tim Legler Says New York Knicks’ Late-Game Identity Separated Them From Spurs

Legler said fatigue mattered, but San Antonio’s bigger Finals issue was “uncertainty and a lack of identity” late in games. He said the Knicks had “no questions whatsoever” because everything ran through Jalen Brunson, while the Spurs looked around unsure. Legler said Victor Wembanyama was good, not sensational, and must master the 15-to-20-foot area to decide future playoff games.
