Todd Monken Apologizes After Browns Practice Blow-Up Over Costly Penalties
Browns coach Monken apologized after becoming “emotionally hijacked” by his offense’s pre-snap penalties during a two-minute drill. “I got fired up. I was pissed,” Monken said, calling it “awful” football. He also blamed himself and the coaching staff, saying, “We haven't coached it well enough,” after whipping his radio and sending the first-team offense off the field.
